So me and some school friends have set up a band together. There are five of us (2 guitar, bass, drumer, singer all girls) and we are suprisingly good (= and haing so much fun with it but we don’t really have a name…We have thought about this a lot and have no clues whatsover. Right now we are playing soft rock, pop kind of tunes but would love it if you guys could think of some original retro suggestions 
We first tried to do something based on our school name (St.Gabriels) But so far thats not worked.Like at all (the best we’ve come up with is Charlies Angels! So original) So please help! x

Ok, so I’m a 13 year old girl, who just started a band with my best friend, who is also 13. We already wrote one song, even though we have no guitar player, bass player, or drummer, yet. (If anyone interested in doing any of these, message me. We’re in Lamar County in texas.) We named it The Spark Of Fate (Is that a good name?) Anyway, we JUST started the band and we’re already having our first fight. We are trying to decide on what our genre is going to be. I wanted u to be an emo band, or metal, but she wants us to be punk, rock, or pop. we though about rock-pop, soft punk, or alternative, but they didn’t seem to it. How can we decide what kind of band we are, without killing each other?

Not really looking for metal. Trust me i know it all from grindcore to death metal to goregrind to anything inbetween so dont suggest that..I’m looking for soft/rock bands..? Nothing too pop-y though..anything nice and mellow

Basically, i like new country, soft rock (acoustic, eg. Jack Johnson), old pop/rock bands britney Spears), reggae, and light alternative rock like counting crows.
i have kind of a wide wierd taste for a 15 year old, and i would love to discover some new bands.
